Scope

1.1.1
These requirements apply to domestic hot plates and laundry stoves (see Definitions, Part III, Hot Plate, Domestic, and Laundry Stove, Domestic):
(a) for use with natural gas,
(b) for use with manufactured gas,
(c) for use with mixed gas,
(d) for use with liquefied petroleum gases,
(e) for use with LP gas-air mixtures.

Construction requirements for domestic hot plates and laundry stoves for use with the above gases are covered under Part I.

Performance requirements for domestic hot plates and laundry stoves for use with the above gases are covered under Part II.

1.1.2
Domestic hot plates and laundry stoves approved under these requi rements shall be newly produced appliances, constructed entirely of new, unused parts and materials.
