Description

This Standard specifies the glass relative density hydrometers which are graduated to indicate relative density, the glass heavy Baume hydrometers which are graduated to indicate heavy Baume degree, and the glass sake meter value hydrometers which are graduated to indicate sake meter value (hereafter referred to as "hydrometer-type relative density meters").

This Standard does not cover hydrometer-type relative density meters with a built-in thermometer.

Examples of form of hydrometer-type relative density meters is shown in figure 1.

Hydrometer-type relative density meters used for transactions or certifications are given in Annex B and Annex C.
