Specifies requirements for the installation and commissioning of optoelectronic devices which are to be used for machinery safety applications.
Scope
This Standard specifies the installation and commissioning requirements for electro-sensitive protective equipment using optoelectronic devices specifically related to machinery safety. Requirements for the manufacture and testing of electro-sensitive systems using optoelectronic devices may be found in AS 4024.3.
