This specification refers to the forming process that leads to welding or brazing.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.2 The non-reinforced extruded pipe tee connection is an alternative to the tee fittings, nozzle, and other welded connections.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.3 The non-reinforced extruded pipe tee connection has been widely used for systems in the marine, process piping, food, pharmaceutical, and similar industries.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.4 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
