However, there are some exceptions, most notably curing, that need special procedures in order to develop the properties inherent with polymer-modification. These test methods cover these exceptions.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00003\">1.2 For testing polymer-modified mortar and concrete specimens, the procedures in this standard supersede those in the referenced ASTM test methods and practices. These test methods are not applicable to dry, packaged mortar and concrete.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00004\">1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00005\">1.4 <span class=\"italic\">This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
