{"id":516298,"date":"2024-11-05T14:39:55","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T14:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/can-csa-m8082-05\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T14:39:55","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T14:39:55","slug":"can-csa-m8082-05","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/csa\/can-csa-m8082-05\/","title":{"rendered":"CAN\/CSA-M8082-05"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Preface<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the first edition of CAN\/CSA-M8082, Self-propelled machinery for forestry &#8211; Roll-over protective structures &#8211; Laboratory tests and performance requirements, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 8082:2003 (second edition, 2003-03-01).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This International Standard establishes a consistent, reproducible means of evaluating the force-deflection characteristics of roll-over protective structures (ROPS) on self-propelled forestry machines under static loading, and prescribes performance requirements for a representative specimen under such loading.<\/p>\n<p>It is applicable to forwarders, skidders, feller-bunchers, processors, harvesters and loaders, as defined in ISO 6814.<\/p>\n<p>It is not applicable to machines having a rotating platform with a cab and boom on the platform. NOTE Research work is being done to develop a test method and criteria for machines having a rotating platform with a cab and boom on the platform.
