Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers a laboratory procedure for determining the water absorption characteristics of sealant backing and joint filler materials, hereinafter referred to as backing.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses after SI units are provided for information only and are not considered standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The committee with jurisdiction over this standard is not aware of any comparable standards published by other ASTM committees or other organizations.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
