It deals with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>safety requirements;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>performance requirements;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>test methods.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document applies to branchpipes as defined in <span class=\"std\">Annex\u00c3?\u00c2&nbsp;A of <span class=\"std-ref\">EN\u00c3?\u00c2&nbsp;15182\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2?\u00ac\u00e2??1:2019<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  WARNING\u00c3?\u00c2&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>These branchpipes offer no or inadequate protection for firefighters when the spray angle is less than 30\u00c3?\u00c2&nbsp;\u00c3?\u00c2\u00b0 and therefore, are not be used in high risk firefighting situations such as internal attack.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  WARNING\u00c3?\u00c2&nbsp;2\n <\/div>\n<p>These branchpipes should not be used when fighting fires in or near electrical installations when the spray angle is less than 30\u00c3?\u00c2\u00b0 without written authorization from the manufacturer in the manual.
