{"id":275820,"date":"2024-10-19T18:33:29","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-pd-iso-tr-230222018\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:58:54","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:58:54","slug":"bsi-pd-iso-tr-230222018","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-pd-iso-tr-230222018\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI PD ISO\/TR 23022:2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies the controlled vocabulary for formulas used in Japanese Kampo medicine with the therapeutic indications of each product according to the subset of IDMPs (ISO&nbsp;11238, ISO&nbsp;11615, ISO&nbsp;11616<sup>[<\/sup><sup>10<\/sup><sup>]<\/sup>, ISO&nbsp;19844<sup>[<\/sup><sup>15<\/sup><sup>]<\/sup>, ISO\/TS&nbsp;20443<sup>[<\/sup><sup>16<\/sup>], ISO\/TS&nbsp;20451<sup>[<\/sup><sup>17<\/sup><sup>]<\/sup>).<\/p>\n<p>This document is intended to be used by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>traders and distributors of medicinal products in Kampo formulas and crude drugs used in Kampo medicine;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>terminologists and developers of new terminological resources concerning herbal medicines in Kampo medicine, and maintenance officers of existing terminological resources concerning Kampo medicine to enable their conformance;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>informaticians, developers, or managers of HIS, EMR, or EHR systems concerning Kampo medicine;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>officers, analysts or maintenance personnel of national health statistics, and policy proposal staff of national health policies;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>officers of WHO, and WHO statistics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This edition of this document describes only medicinal products in accordance with the Kampo formula in Japan. Both OTC Kampo formula medicinal products and in-pharmacy formula medicinal products are omitted, although they are permitted under Japanese jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Topics considered out of scope of this document are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>any medicinal products manufactured in accordance with the formula of traditional medicines that are not permitted under the Japanese jurisdiction;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>whole information models of medicinal products, pharmaceutical products and substances (see ISO 11238) because those are already specified in IMDPs;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>any categorical structure(s) of herbal medicaments (see ISO\/TS&nbsp;18062, ISO&nbsp;17115<sup>[<\/sup><sup>13<\/sup><sup>]<\/sup> and EN&nbsp;12264<sup>[<\/sup><sup>18<\/sup><sup>]<\/sup>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The controlled vocabulary for formulas used in Japanese Kampo medicine is given in Annex A.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Traditional Chinese medicine.
