{"id":270583,"date":"2024-10-19T18:07:52","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-14402008a12012\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:16:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:16:56","slug":"bs-en-14402008a12012","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-14402008a12012\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 1440:2008+A1:2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard specifies procedures for periodic inspection and testing, for transportable refillable LPG cylinders with a water capacity from 0,5 l up to and including 150 l.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard is applicable to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>welded and brazed steel LPG cylinders with a specified minimum wall thickness (see EN 1442 and EN 12807 or the equivalent standard);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>welded steel LPG cylinders manufactured to an alternative design and construction (see EN 14140:2003+A1 or the equivalent standard);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE This European Standard also applies to protected cylinders, see 5.3 and Annex G.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>welded aluminium LPG cylinders (see EN 13110 or the equivalent standard);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>composite LPG cylinders (see EN 14427 or the equivalent standard).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard is intended to be applied to cylinders complying with RID\/ADR (including pi marked cylinders) and also to existing non RID\/ADR cylinder populations.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard does not apply to cylinders permanently installed in vehicles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>LPG equipment and accessories.
