Preface
This Supplement has been prepared to accompany and revise CSA Standard CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 601.2.11-92, Medical Electrical Equipment – Part 2: Particular Requirements for the Safety of Gamma Beam Therapy Equipment. It is an adoption of Amendment 2 to IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 601-2-11.
Clause numbering in this Supplement corresponds with that in CSA Standard CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 601.2.11-92 and therefore does not form a continuous sequence. Page numbering, however, does not correspond to the CSA Standard.
The Canadian adoption of this Supplement was prepared by the Technical Committee on Environmental Products under the jurisdiction of the CSA Standards Steering Committee on the Canadian Electrical Code, Part II and was formally approved by these committees.
