CAN/CSA-ISO 5841.1-97 (R2001):1997 Edition

This is the first edition of CSA Standard CAN/CSA-IS0 5841.1, Cardiac pacemakers – Part 7:

Implantable pacemakers, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO

(International Organization for Standardization) Standard 5841 -1 :1989 (second edition,

1989-1 1-1 5).

This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on Implantable

Medical Devices under the jurisdiction of the Strategic Steering Committee on Health Care

Technology, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee. A list of the members of

these Committees is available upon request. This Standard has been approved as a National

Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
