Scope

1.1
This Standard applies to selfpropelled boomintegral chassis elevated work platforms that have a platform capable of being positioned completely beyond the base and that are used to position personnel, along with their necessary tools and materials, at work locations. Selfboomelevating work platforms (aerial platforms) are power-operated with primary functions, including drive control from the platform. For the purpose of this Standard, selfpropelled boomelevating work platforms will be referred to as aerial platforms.
