Scope
1.1 This guide covers the determination of the hairiness of most filament and spun yarn using a photo-electric sensor apparatus. It is not intended for use on novelty yarns.
1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
