Deals with the safety of electric fans for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. This standard also applies to separate controls supplied with fans. This 2016 edition will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.80:2004 on 30 June 2019. Adopted with national modifications from, and includes the text of, IEC 60335-2-80 Ed 3.
