{"id":694355,"date":"2024-11-06T05:36:12","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/ul-60079-252020\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T05:36:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:36:12","slug":"ul-60079-252020","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/ul\/ul-60079-252020\/","title":{"rendered":"UL 60079-25:2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>1 Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This <\/p>\n<p>part of IEC 60079<\/p>\n<p>standard<\/p>\n<p> contains the specific requirements for construction and assessment of intrinsically safe electrical systems, type of protection \u201ci\u201d, intended for use, as a whole or in part, <\/p>\n<p>in Class I, Zone 0, 1, or 2, or Zone 20, 21, or 22 hazardous (classified) locations as defined by the National Electrical Code\u00ae (NEC), ANSI\/NFPA 70\u00ae<\/p>\n<p>in locations in which the use of Group I, II or III apparatus is required<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE 1 This standard is intended for use by the designer of the system who may be a manufacturer, a specialist consultant or a member of the end-user\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n<p>This standard supplements and modifies the general requirements of <\/p>\n<p>ANSI\/ISA-60079-0 and ANSI\/ISA-61241-0<\/p>\n<p>IEC 60079-0<\/p>\n<p> and the intrinsic safety standard <\/p>\n<p>ANSI\/ISA-60079-11 and ANSI\/ISA-61241-11<\/p>\n<p>IEC 60079-11<\/p>\n<p>.
