This paper will<\/p>\n<p>cover the progression from mechanical machines with complex drive trains using the five cut method of<\/p>\n<p>cutting gears with coolant, tomachines with direct drive CNC technology dry cutting gears by the completing<\/p>\n<p>method with carbide and high speed steel tools. The latest cutting tool materials and tool coatings will be<\/p>\n<p>discussed.
