Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers the determination of the thickness of metallic coatings by the coulometric method, also known as the anodic solution or electrochemical stripping method, combined with a white light interferometry.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> This test method is particularly applicable to decorative trivalent chromium deposits but can be used for other thin chromium deposits. The range of testing is typically 0.1\u2009\u00b5m to 0.5\u2009\u00b5m, but it can include thicker deposits.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
