{"id":335410,"date":"2024-10-19T23:24:29","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T23:24:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-161592012\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T22:22:36","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T22:22:36","slug":"bs-en-161592012","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-161592012\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 16159:2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of selenium in animal feeding stuffs by hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry (HGAAS) after microwave pressure digestion.<\/p>\n<p>The method was successfully tested by an inter-laboratory study of CEN\/TC 327\/WG 4 in the range of 0,25 mg\/kg to 74 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n<p>The limit of quantification is 0,5 \u03bcg\/l of the test solution which corresponds to the calibration standard 2. Using a test portion of 0,5 g and a volume of the test solution of 25 ml after pressure digestion the limit of quantification is calculated as 0,125 mg\/kg in the feed material.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE A lower limit of quantification could be achieved \u2013 each laboratory has to prove it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Animal feeding stuffs.
