{"id":243292,"date":"2024-10-19T15:57:42","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T15:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-604472004\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T10:53:39","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T10:53:39","slug":"bs-en-604472004","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-604472004\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 60447:2004"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard establishes general actuating principles for manually operated actuators forming part of the man-machine interface associated with electrical equipment, in order to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>increase the safety (e.g. of persons, property, environment) through the safe operation of the equipment;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>facilitate the proper and timely operation of the actuators.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These principles apply, not only for the operation of electrical equipment, machines, or complete plant under normal conditions, but also under fault or emergency conditions.<\/p>\n<p>This standard is for general application, from simple cases such as single actuators (e.g. push-buttons) to multiple actuators, forming part of a large assembly of electrical and non-electrical equipment, or part of a central process control station.<\/p>\n<p>This standard establishes correlations between the function of an actuator and its direction of actuating or location in relation to other actuators.<\/p>\n<p>In the absence of particular rules, this standard may also be applied to actuators operated by a part of the human body other than the hand (e.g. to foot-operated devices).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Basic and safety principles for man-machine interface, marking and identification.
