Preface This is the first edition of the 0112 Series of CSA Standards on Wood Adhesives, written in SI (le Systeme international dunites). This Series supersedes earlier editions of the 0112 Standards written in yard-pound units, published in 1960, 1961, 1974 and 1975. The Series is made up of nine Standards, the first of which covers definitions and standard test methods and is designated as 0112.0. The other Standards in the Series, designated as 0112.1, 0112.2, 0112.3, etc., cover the requirements for various types of wood adhesives. The adhesives covered by this Series of Standards are intended to include those used by all segments of the wood-using industries including those for structural applications, plywood, furniture and the numerous other wood products where gluing plays an important role. The Series will be added to as new developments indicate the need. This Series was prepared by the Technical Committee on Wood Adhesives under the jurisdiction of the Standards Steering Committee on Forest Products and was formally approved by these Committees. Suggestions for improvement will be welcomed at all times. They will be recorded and in due course brought to the attention of the appropriate Committee for consideration. Also, requests for interpretation will be accepted by the Committee. They should be worded in such a manner as to permit a simple rryesfofr "no" answer based on the literal text of the requirement concerned.
