Description

This International Standard gives a vocabulary of selected terms which are frequently encountered in industrial screening.

It refers to screening processes in which screens with screening surfaces in accordance with ISO 4783-1, ISO 4783-2, ISO 4783-3 and ISO 9044 are used.

The terms defined are grouped into the following four sections:

material to be screened;
industrial screens;
the screening process;
products of screening.
