Description

This British Standard specifies materials, construction and performance requirements for reusable sanitary pans intended for use with commode chairs.

Grade A pans are designed to withstand heat sterilization at 134 °C; grade B pans are capable of withstanding heat disinfection at 100 °C.

NOTE 1 Appendix A gives details of the information to be supplied by the purchaser to the manufacturer.

NOTE 2 The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are given on the inside back cover.
