1 Scope<\/b><\/p>\n

1.1 General<\/b><\/p>\n

This standard specifies the requirements for flexible cords, elevator cables, and hoistway cables rated 600 V maximum and electric vehicle cables rated 1000 V maximum and intended for use in accordance with CAN\/CSA C22.1, \u00a0Canadian Electrical Code<\/i>, Part I<\/i>, in Canada, NOM-001-SEDE, \u00a0La Norma de Instalaciones Electricas<\/i>, in Mexico, and NFPA 70, \u00a0National Electrical Code<\/i> (NEC), in the United States.<\/p>\n
