The cdma2000 family of standards specify the operating and
\nperformance characteristics of cdma2000 digital spread spectrum
\nsystems. These standards contain certain parameter values (e.g.,
\nservice options and Data Burst Message burst types) that have been
\nreserved for either standard or for proprietary (non-standard)
\nusage. As new voice and non-voice6 related services are defined, it
\nis necessary to assign values to these parameters. To avoid
\nconfusion resulting from multiple assignments, 3GPP2 Technical
\nSpecification Group C (TSG-C) recognized the need to provide this
\nsingle master registry of parameter values that it has authorized
\nfor use.<\/p>\n
This document assigns values to parameters within certain
\ncdma2000 specifications for standard and for proprietary usage. The
\naffected standards are listed in the References section of this
\ndocument. As assignments are identified, this document will be
\nrevised to accommodate the new parameter assignments.
\nManufacturers, service providers, and others wishing to use values
\nfor parameters that have not been assigned should refer to Section
\n2 of this document for parameter value assignment administration
\nprocedures. Services using proprietary parameter value assignments
\nare not subject to standardization within TSG-C, but are to be
\ninteroperable with the requirements within the respective cdma2000
\nspecifications.<\/p>\n
In addition to the parameter values assigned in this document,
\nTSG-C may assign parameter values to new services or to certain
\norganizations according to the procedures described in Section 2.
\nParameter values that are not assigned in this document or that are
\nnot assigned according to the procedures in Section 2 are
\nundefined; and, therefore, have not been approved by TSG-C.
\nOrganizations should not use unassigned parameter values, and are
\ncautioned that use of unassigned parameter values may affect future
\ncompatibility.<\/p>\n
The terms "Manufacturer-Specific" and "Proprietary" are used
\ninterchangeably, as are the terms "Standard" and
\n"Specification."<\/p>\n
This document may contain provisional value assignments for
\nspecifications under development. These specifications may not be
