{"id":385846,"date":"2024-10-20T03:32:38","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T03:32:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-21-30419624-dc\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T06:27:08","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T06:27:08","slug":"bsi-21-30419624-dc","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-21-30419624-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 21\/30419624 DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies safety requirements and test methods related to materials, safety, performance and consumer information for classified floating leisure articles for use on and in the water according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;25649-1:20xx<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>This document is to be applied with <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;25649-1:20xx<\/span> <\/span> and <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;25649-2:20xx<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>This document is applicable for Class&nbsp;B floating leisure articles for use on and in the water according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;25649-1:20xx<\/span> <\/span> regardless whether the buoyancy is achieved by inflation or inherent buoyant material.<\/p>\n<p>Class&nbsp;B devices provide a buoyant structure with one or more body openings into which the user is positioned partly immersed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>Typical products forming Class B (see <span class=\"xref\">Annex&nbsp;B<\/span>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>floating rafts with interior body holding system (\u201cswim seats\u201d) mostly in circular or square shape, fantasy shape for playing purposes;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>floating fantasy shaped structures with one or more openings to host a child\u2019s body, with or without body holding system;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>floating with slits or openings to put legs through any shape;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>floating rings with interior seat segments inside the circular body opening.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;2\n <\/div>\n<p>Typical places for application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>pools;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>protected areas of lakes, ponds;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>protected area sea shore (no offshore winds, no currents).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS EN ISO 25649-4.
